Luigi Pagni

Vice President, Hughes Network Systems Europe

Luigi Pagni is Vice President of Hughes Network Systems Europe, the sales and operating organisation for the European market of Hughes Network Systems, LLC., with overall sales responsibility for Hughes' products and services. 

Luigi joined Hughes (at that time M/A-Com Telecommunications and then Hughes Network Systems/HNS) in 1985 as Director of Sales for Southern Europe.  In 1992 he was appointed Vice President, HNS International and took on his current role when the new European organisation was formed in 1999.

His early career included five years working for Marconi in its telecommunications laboratories.  He moved to telecommunications consortium, STS as Deputy Sales and Marketing Director, before taking on senior sales and marketing roles in aerospace company, Alenia Spazio and wireless network solutions specialist, SIAE Microelettronica.
