Christopher Britton
Managing Director, Hughes Network Systems Europe
Christopher Britton is Managing Director of
Hughes Network Systems Europe, the sales and operating organisation
for the European market of Hughes Network Systems, LLC. He
has full P&L responsibilities, including day-to-day management
of the company, the sales, operations, finance, legal and HR
functions. Christopher spearheads the company's drive to
maximise its strengths in market-leading technologies and quality
of service support within both existing and emerging European
markets.
Before joining Hughes, Christopher founded specialist network
integration provider, ETT in 1998, prior to which he was Sales and
Marketing Director for TMI, the international arm of Telecom
Italia.
Christopher was previously also a founder member of Energis UK,
where he was Head of Sales Operations: he also developed the
principles for Bid Management and System Engineering and was
responsible for the service provider's ISO9000 certification.
Christopher spent the first 11 years of his career at
BT, initially as an engineer, before moving to AT&T in 1987
where he held a number of key roles including the development of
managed network services.
